“Cebit 2007”: Partners' Meeting

Eckard Heidloff, the president of the “Wincor Nixdorf” is visiting the stand of the “Penki kontinentai”.

This year the exhibition dedicated to the information technologies that started on March 15 in Hanover (Germany) is especially successful to the “Penki kontinentai” group from Lithuania. The representatives of the company take the opportunity to share their experience, make new contacts, sign important agreements, and meet their long-term partners.

On the first day of the exhibition the meeting with Reinhard Rabenstein, the vice-president of the “Wincor Nixdorf” took place. During the conversation that lasted for one and half an hour the guidelines for the future cooperation have been discussed. The discussion is going to be continued in Vilnius.

On March 16 Eckard Heidloff, the president of the “Wincor Nixdorf” visited the stand of the “Penki kontinentai”. The honourable guest presented a testimonial letter to the BS/2 that is the silver partner of the “Wincor Nixdorf” for signing the most important contract in the Eastern Europe regarding the supply of the production manufactured by the German company to Kazakhstan. According to the contract over a thousand ATMs were sold to the largest banks of this Asian country. Today the BS/2 is the only official dealer in the banking equipment produced by the “Wincor Nixdorf” in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

E. Heidlofas showed a particular interest in the new solutions introduced by the Lithuanian company. Plans for the future have been discussed. According to Vladas Lapinskas, the representative of the BS/2, the president of the German company showed a special interest in the payment script server “IQPay”, that allows to carry out the payment transactions on the user's terminal equipment and to perform other operations. “In the nearest future this new solution is going to be supplied to Kazakhstan, so the cooperation with such well-known companies as the ”Wincor Nixdorf“ is much valued”, says V. Lapinskas.

Before leaving the stand of the “Penki kontinentai” the president of the German company accepted the invitation to visit Lithuania.
