The “Wincor Nixdorf” partners will meet in Luxor

On October, 30 – November, 1 the eighth international meeting of the “Wincor Nixdorf” partners is going to take place in Luxor (Egypt). This year the representatives of the leading companies in the field of banking technologies from all over the world are going to meet in the capital city of ancient Egypt – former Thebes. Luxor – is a small town, 650 km south of Cairo (capital). Surrounded by wheat fields and desert sand the city is famous for its history represented by the tombs for the pharaohs.

Today the German company “Wincor Nixdorf” is known as one of the most successful manufacturers of the banking equipment that provides best services and offers qualitative products with the latest IT solutions installed. According to the information given in the official “Wincor Nixdorf” Web page during the fiscal year 2004-2005 the company’s turnover reached 1,74 billion Euros. This year the figure is 2 billions Euros. The banking equipment is supplied to more than 90 countries of the world, and  the “Wincor Nixdorf” personnel is a friendly company with 7500 employees. The general office is in Padenborn (Germany). The “Nilson Report” research has shown that the “Wincor Nixdorf” holds the second place in Europe and the third place in the world in the ATMs selling.

The partners’ meeting in Luxor is the eighth such meeting organized by the German company. The following issues are included in the agenda: Long-term partnership and presentations of new products by the participating companies.

According to the organizers, the principal goal of the meeting is to strengthen the cooperation among the collaborating companies. As usually the award ceremony for the best results in 2005-2006 is going to take place.

The Lithuanian company “Penkiu kontinentu bankines technologijos” (BS/2) – the member of the “Penki kontinentai” group – is going to participate in the meeting just like 70 European companies, the companies from Asia, Africa and America. Every year the BS/2 gets the “banking Oscar” and has already seven “Top Seller” awards as the best seller of the “Wincor Nixdorf” production.

Not long ago at the opening of the representative office of the BS/2 in Kazakhstan the Lithuanian company was called “the ideal partner” by Karl-Heinz Stiller, the president of the “Wincor Nixdorf”.

Prismontas, the deputy directors of the BS/2; V. Lapinskas, the head of the ”Wincor Nixdorf“ Competence Center; A. Butkus, the director of the BS/2 representative office in Kazakhstan; P. Griskevicius, the ”Wincor Nixdorf“ sales representative in Ukraine; and A. Volkovas, the general manager of the ”Penki kontinentai Rīga“.

Like every year during the solemnity evening eight different awards will be granted for the best products: the Most Innovative Concept; the Best Newcomer; the Best Replacement Story; the Best Marketing Performer; the Best Entry into New Industries; the Best Product Diversification; the Best New Customer; the Best Service Improvement. (Best Service Improvement).

The ”Penkiu kontinentu bankines technologijos“ is nominated for three categories and is going to introduce the following products and solutions:
• The ATMiQ system for the Most Innovative Concept;
• the ”Alliance bank“ (Kazakhstan) for the Best New Customer;
The international BS/2 service for the Best Service Improvement.
