 BS/2 has affirmed its status as the international service provider

On May 4, 2006 a new subsidiary of the “Penkiu kontinentu bankines technologijos” (BS/2) “BS/2 Estonia OÜ” was established in Estonia. This subsidiary was founded together with the “Datel” partner company that is a representative of the BS/2 in Estonia . The “Penki kontinentai Rīga ” that belongs to the “Penki kontinentai” company group is already functioning in Latvia .

With the foundation of the “BS/2 Estonia OÜ” the BS/2 has strengthen its positions in the Baltic States: Lithuania , Latvia and Estonia .

“The BS/2 has once more approved its status as the international service provider” says Vladislavas Prišmontas, the deputy director of the company and the head of the technical maintenance centre. “Having established the subsidiary we will be able to provide the trusted equipment manufactured by the “Wincor Nixdorf” into the Estonian market, and highly qualified specialists will carry out the appropriate maintenance procedures”.

In two previous years the BS/2 provided the “SEB Eesti Uhispank” bank with the 25 ATMs that are manufactured by the “Wincor Nixdorf” and have a cash payment feature. Up till now the BS/2 has presented more than 50 ATMs to the banks of Latvia.In the meantime the project with the Latvian bank “Baltic Trust Bank” is being carried out – the old “Bull” ATMs are planned to be changed by the new “Wincor Nixdorf” self-service equipment.

Since 1997 the “Penkiu kontinentu bankines technologijos” is a partner of the “Wincor Nixdorf” and the only authorized dealer in the banking equipment produced by the “Wincor Nixdorf” in twelve countries
