At the end of December it acquired 37 percent of the "Ashburn International" company's stock. After becoming the shareholder the "Penki kontinentai" company group takes part in the management of the company. The "Ashburn International" is a well-known company in the Baltic states. It was founded in 1998 using the finance of the American companies and founds. The principle branches of the company's activity are the development and management of solutions related to the bank payment and loyalty cards as well as the electronic transfer of goods and services. The additional investments into the "Ashburn International" company are well thought-out and logical, as in 15 years of its existence the "Penki kontinentai" company group has accumulated extensive experience in the spheres of telecommunications and information technologies. The main fields are banking, cards, retail technologies and information security.
